Rhythm Lesson 3
This rhythm is introduced in Part 6 of the Nine-Note Recorder Method. A dot makes a note half again as long. Here is a dotted quarter note. It gets one and a half beats. A dotted quarter note is paired with an eighth note to make 2 beats.
Say each number on the down beat, and say the “and” on an upbeat as you follow along on the rhythm below.
